Dr. Dennis L. Berino


berinoDr. Berino is an Associate Professional Lecturer under the Decision Sciences and Innovation (DSI) Department of the Ramon V. del Rosario College of Business (RVR-COB) of De La Salle University (DLSU). He earned his Doctor of Business Administration from DLSU. He received special training as a fellow under Insular Life, Life Office Management Association and LUA-Philippines, Life Underwriters' Training Council, and is considered a Civil Service Professional for the Philippines.

Berino’s research interests include corporate social responsibility, e-learning, information and communications technology, and online businesses. His works had been published in PeLS Online Journal, Daluman E-Journal, and Management Economic Review. Berino is an Agency Executive for AXA Philippines and Insular Life. A leader of various professional organizations, he was Trustee, Journal Editor, and Former President of the Philippine eLearning Society and FLMI Society of the Philippines. He is a Trustee of the Philippine Academy of Management, Ma. Montessori Children’s School Foundation, and FLMI Society of the Philippines. He is also an active member of the Life Underwriters’ Association of the Philippines and Greenpeace Philippines. He continues to advocate the importance of CSR, philanthropy, and sustainability.

Dr. Elfren S. Cruz


cruzDr. Cruz is a Senior Professional Lecturer at the Management and Organization Department (MOD) of the Ramon V. del Rosario College of Business (RVR-COB) of De La Salle University (DLSU). He earned his Doctor of Business Administration from DLSU. A leader in the field of business management, his professional experience includes being the Chairman of numerous businesses such as Lockton Philippines Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers Inc., Corporate Risk Management International, Inc., Peotraco Industries, The Worldwide Lifestyle Timepieces, Inc., Technovation, Inc., Times Trading Inc., Printwell Group of Companies, and DBH Equity Holdings, Inc. He is also a regular columnist for the Philippine Star. Aside from leading various organizations, Cruz is also a member of different professional organizations such as the Makati Business Club, Management Association of the Philippines, Manila Jaycees Senate, La Sallian Legacy Fund, AIM Alumni Association, and the DLSU Alumni Association.

Cruz’s research interests cover family business and strategic management. He authored a book entitled “Setting Frameworks: Family Business and Strategic Management”, which won a National Book Award for Best Book in Business and Economics as bestowed by the Manila Critics Circle. An excellent writer, he also won the Catholic Mass Media Award for Best Business Column when he was still writing for the Business World.

Dr. Ma. Luisa C. Delayco


delaycoDr. Delayco is an Associate Professor at the Marketing Management Department of the Ramon V. del Rosario College of Business (RVR-COB) of De La Salle University (DLSU). She earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Communication from the University of the Philippines. Delayco’s research interests involve social networking and marketing management. Her work had been published in the Journal of Management Information Systems and Business Studies Journal.

Dr. Neriza M. Delfino


delfinoDr. Delfino is an Associate Professor at the Financial Management Department of Ramon V. del Rosario College of Business (RVR-COB) of De La Salle University (DLSU). She earned her Doctor of Business Administration from DLSU, and received special training for Japan Studies under Boeki Kenshu Center (Fujinomiya, Japan) and Studies in European Integration under College of Europe (Brugge, Belgium). Her research interests cover financial management and franchising. Her work had been published in the DLSU Business and Economics Review. Delfino’s work is not limited to the academe, having had professional experience as a Consultant/Director for WorldScribe Asia, Inc. and Project Evaluator for Philippine Export and Foreign Loan Guarantee Corporation. She was a member as well of the Belgian Friendship Society and of the Philippine Economic Society.

Delfino also gives back to society via community service. She was the Conduit to the Joint Project of GAWAD Kalinga and College of Business and Economics for Livelihood Training of Some Members of the Napa Community in Severina Subdivision, Paranaque under DLSU – proof that one can do an impact to society regardless one’s profession.

Dr. Divina M. Edralin


edralinDr. Edralin is a full professor at the Management and Organization Department of the Ramon V. del Rosario College of Business (RVR-COB) of De La Salle University. She is currently the Vice Dean for Research and Graduate Studies of the Ramon V. del Rosario College of Business (RVR-COB). She earned her Master in Industrial Relations from the University of the Philippines and her Doctor of Management from De La Salle University.

Her areas of expertise and research interests include human resource management, entrepreneurship, collective bargaining, and labor issues. She is the author of the following books: “Business Research: Concepts and Applications, 3rd edition” under DLSU Press, Inc. and “Human Resource Management Practices: Concepts and Applications” under Abiva Publishing. Her works had been published in the DLSU Business and Economics Review, the Journal of Women Studies, the Asia Pacific Business Review, the Asian Journal of Technology Innovation, and the LCCM Research Journal.

Edralin is currently a management consultant for Thaiairways, Scentimentals Incorporate, and Labor Education Research Network. She is also currently a research consultant for La Consolacion College Manila. She was named as the Outstanding Educator in Management by the Philippine Council of Deans and Educators in Business (PCDEB) in 2003.


 

Dr. Rodiel C. Ferrer


ferrerDr. Ferrer is an Associate Professor under the Accountancy Department of the Ramon V. del Rosario College of Business (RVR-COB) of De La Salle University (DLSU). He earned his Doctor of Business Administration from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. Ferrer’s research interests cover financial management, accounting, and business management. His various outputs have been published by different journals such as the Academy of Accounting and Financial Studies, Journal of International Business, Journal of International Management Studies, European Journal of Management, and the DLSU Business and Economic Review. He garnered various awards in research as bestowed by the International Academy of Business and Allied Academics.

Aside from being an educator, Ferrer is a an active member of different professional organizations such as the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Academy for Accounting (Allied Academies), Association of CPAs in the Philippines, and International Academy for Business. He also gives back to society by being involved in his Church as an auditor and an active organizer of its feeding program.


 

Dr. Brian C. Gozun


gozumDr. Gozun is an Associate Professor under the Decision Sciences and Innovation (DSI) Department of the Ramon V. del Rosario College of Business (RVR-COB) of De La Salle University (DLSU). He obtained his PhD in Social Systems Analysis with specialization in Operations Research under the National Graduate for Policy Studies at Tokyo, Japan and is also a Former Dean of the RVR-COB.

Gozun’s research interests include operations management and management science. His various research outputs were published by The Business Journal, and the International Transactions in Operations Research. He has served as Technical Consultant for the World Bank in the Philippines, and Researcher for renowned institutions such as the Asian Development Bank Institute, Meat and Livestock Australia, Philippine Embassy in Tokyo, Dempa Publications, Save Pampanga Movement, and the Office of Research Coordination of the University of the Philippines Diliman. He is also a current member of the Operations Research Society of the Philippines and of the Institute for Operations Research and Management Science.

Dr. Raymund B. Habaradas


habaradasDr. Habaradas teaches Management Research, Business Organization and Management, Management Principles and Dynamics, Organization Theory, and Human Behavior in Organizations at the Management and Organization Department of De La Salle University (DLSU). He received both his Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degrees from the same university.

Habaradas has done several research projects funded by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), USAID, World Bank-ASEM, and the International Labor Office (ILO). His research outputs are in the areas of corporate social initiatives, national innovation systems, city innovations, innovation of firms, upgrading in global value chains, and SME development. He has published in internationally-refereed journals such as the Asian Journal of Technology Innovation, the International Journal of Business and Social Sciences, the Journal of International Business Research, the Journal of Legal, Ethical and Regulatory Issues, and the DLSU Business and Economics Review.

Among his published works is a chapter in the book Production Networks, Industrial Adjustment, Institutions and Policies, and Regional Cooperation, which was cited by the National Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) as Most Outstanding Book in 2011. He has also written articles for opinion columns in Business World, Manila Bulletin, Manila Standard Today, and Manila Times.

Habaradas is the current Director of the DLSU Center for Business Research and Development (CBRD). He previously served as Director of the DLSU Center for Professional Development in Business and Economics (CPDBE), as Deputy Executive Director of the DLSU-Angelo King Institute for Economics and Business Studies, and as Director of the Institutional Communication Office of DLSU. He was also one of the recipients of the Asian Public Intellectuals (API) Fellowship Program of the Nippon Foundation in 2007.


 

Dr. Emiliano T. Hudtohan


hudtohanDr. Hudtohan is an Assistant Professional Lecturer at the Management and Organization Department (MOD) of the Ramon V. del Rosario College of Business (RVR-COB) of De La Salle University (DLSU). He earned his Doctor of Education, specializing in Values Formation, from DLSU.

Hudtohan taught at elementary, secondary, and tertiary levels. He has practiced management consultancy, project management, and education supervisorship at different organizations such as the USAID, Malayan Insurance Company Manila, Effectiveness Training Consultancy, Inc., CBGS Insurance Adjustsers, Inc., Metrobank, Paper Corporation of the Philippines, and TH Valderrama Learning Center.

His research interests involve business ethics, corporate social responsibility, and human resources. His works had been published in the De La Salle College of Business and Economics Review

Among his accomplishments, he has received outstanding recognition for his dissertation at DLSU and gained the Meritorious Achievement Award given by the Philippine Women’s University. He has presented papers on sustainable mining and ethical leadership in conferences. His community service includes experience in being part of the National Police Commission as a panellist, Formator for the Our Lady of the Assumption Parish Kapatiran Kay Kristo, and Adviser for OFW Legacy, Inc., Manila.


 

Dr. Marivic V. Manalo


manaloDr. Manalo is an Associate Professor under the Accountancy Department of the Ramon V. del Rosario College of Business (RVR-COB) of De La Salle University (DLSU). She earned her Doctor of Business Administration, with specialization in Business Ethics and Cost Management, from DLSU.

Manalo’s research interests cover accounting education, business ethics, accounting, and financial management. Her articles were published by the DLSU Business and Economics Review, the Journal of Modern Accounting and Auditing, and the Journal of International Business Research. She has also co-authored a book entitled “Basic Accounting: Service Business Study Guide”.

A licensed Certified Public Accountant, Manalo is a member of professional organizations such as the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Certified Public Accountants in Education. Wanting to give back to society, she is active in volunteering for community service revolving around academic and non-academic activities – be it helping the school in accreditations and researches or being part of relief operations.

Dr. Junette A. Perez


perezDr. Perez is an Associate Professor at the Financial Management Department of Ramon V. del Rosario College of Business (RVR-COB) of De La Salle University (DLSU). She earned her Doctor of Business Administration, with specialization in Finance, De La Salle University. She is a Certified Public Accountant. Her research interests include financial management, ethics, and microfinance. Her works had been published in the Interdisciplinary Studies Journal, and the DLSU Business and Economics Review.

A devout religious individual, Perez is active in conducting community service at the Ortigas Day Womens-Bible Study Fellowship and Christ Commission Fellowship. She facilitates Bible Studies, Sunday School Teaching, and is a Marriage Facilitator.


 

Dr. Emilina D. Sarreal


sarrealDr. Sarreal is an Associate Professor under the Decision Sciences and Innovation (DSI) Department of the Ramon V. del Rosario College of Business (RVR-COB) of De La Salle University (DLSU). She earned her Doctor of Business Administration from DLSU. Moreover, she received various special trainings such as Price-Babson Symposium for Entrepreneurship Education under Price-Babson College, Philippine Global Trade eLearning Program 2 under Department of Trade and Industry and USAID, 3rd Faculty Capability Building under ABS-CBN Bayan Foundation, and Bridging the Use-Divide: Empowering Managers to Make Decisions about Implementing E-solutions under International Trade Centre UNCTAD-WTO. Sarreal’s research interests cover entrepreneurship, business management, and education. Her works had been published in the DLSU Business and Economics Review. She also contributed a chapter to the book Promoting Philippine Enterprise Development. Aside from being an educator, Dr. Sarreal has various professional experiences that include the following: Research Analyst for Capitol Securities One, Inc., Treasury Officer Trainee for Capitol Development Bank, Budget-Corplan Supervisor and Analyst for Systems Technology Institute, Inc., and Researcher for the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry. She was also a member of the Academy of Business Research and is currently part of the Entrepreneurship Educator Association and the Academy of Management.


 

Dr. Luz T. Suplico-Jeong


jeongDr. Suplico-Jeong is an Associate Professor at the Marketing Management Department of the Ramon V. del Rosario College of Business (RVR-COB) of De La Salle University (DLSU). She obtained her PhD in Development Studies with specialization in Marketing from DLSU. Dr. Suplico-Jeong was the Former President of the Association of Training Institutions for Foreign Trade in Asia and the Pacific (ATIFTAP). She also co-authored a book “International Marketing” which was published by C&E Publishing in 2008.

Dr. Ma. Andrea L. Santiago


santiagoDr. Santiago is a Full Professor at the Management and Organization Department (MOD) of the Ramon V. del Rosario College of Business (RVR-COB) of De La Salle University (DLSU), which she now serves as Dean. She earned her Doctor of Business Administration from DLSU. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Her research interests include human resources management, leadership, higher education, sustainability and corporate social responsibility. Her articles were published in several journals such as the Family Business Review, The Asia-Pacific Education Researcher, Energy Policy, Electricity Journal, Philippine Management Review, and the International Journal of Education Policy and Leadership. She has contributed many chapters to published books such as “Entrepreneurship and Sustainability: Business Solutions for Poverty Alleviation around the World” and “Father-Daughter Succession in Family Business: A Cross-Cultural Perspective” to name a few.

Santiago is renowned for her professional practice that includes being a Managing Director for Total HR Solutions Inc. An expert in Human Resources, she was a consultant for numerous organizations such as Eastern Telecommunications Philippines, XL Steps Management, Amrop International, International Communications Company, and Bayantel. Part of her full-time employment experiences include being part of Tahanan Mutual Building and Loan Association, ZMG Ward Howell International, Globe Telecom, and SGV & Company. She was also part of the Office of the President of the Philippines from 1987 to 1992.

Part of Santiago’s leadership in professional organizations include being the current Head for Research and Publications of the Philippine Academy of Management. She is a member of various institutions as well such as the National Research Center of the Philippines, the International Family Enterprise Research Academy, the Entrepreneurial Educator’s Association, the Family Firm Institute, and the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In 2011, the National Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) recognized Dr. Santiago’s chapter authorship in the NAST Outstanding Book.


 

Dr. Benito L. Teehankee


teehankeeDr. Teehankee is an Associate Professor at the Management and Organization Department (MOD) of the Ramon V. del Rosario College of Business (RVR-COB) of De La Salle University (DLSU). He earned his Doctor of Business Administration, specializing in Total Quality Management, from DLSU.

His research interests involve Catholic social teaching, management and organization, business ethics, organizational leadership, workplace spirituality, alternative forms of management and organization, and action research. Last 2008, the Asia-Pacific Social Science Review published his paper entitled “Humanistic Entrepreneurship”. Furthermore, he contributed chapters related to corporate governance and corporate social responsibility, some of which appearing respectively on “Essentials of Investment in the Philippine Capital Market” under Southville Publishing and “Doing Good in Business Matters: Frameworks” under the Asian Institute of Management. He has presented numerous research outputs to various conferences and is a regular contributor to The Manila Times, Business Mirror, and Business World. Teehankee’s professional practice includes being a consultant and expert for renowned organizations such as Globe Telecom, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, PLDT, Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Marsman Tours and Travel, Amkor Technology, Development Bank of the Philippines, Philippine House of Representatives, and the Presidential Management Staff. He has also served various professional organizations, including the Pambansang Samahan sa Sikolohiyang Pilipino, Management Association of the Philippines, Philippine Academy of Management, Philippine eLearning Society and the Philippine Society of IT Educators. His other memberships include Shareholders' Association of the Philippines, Asia Academy of Management, Philippine Statistical Association, and Pi Gamma Mu.

In 2012, DLSU awarded Teehankee with the “Gawad Br. Cecilio Hojilla FSC for Outstanding Lay Partners in the Lasallian Mission, specifically for Faith Formation”. The Catholic Mass Media Awards also gave him a “Special Citation for Best Business Column - "Sex and Billboards" for an article he wrote for the “Managing for Society” opinion column of The Manila Times.

Dr. Ma. Victoria P. Tibon


tibonDr. Tibon is an Assistant Professor under the Decision Sciences and Innovation (DSI) Department of the Ramon V. del Rosario College of Business (RVR-COB) of De La Salle University (DLSU). She earned her Doctor of Business Administration from DLSU. Her research interests cover education, economics, and marketing. She has published different articles in various journals, such as the Scholastican Review, the Journal of International Business Research, and the Journal of Modern Accounting and Auditing.

Dr. Tibon’s professional practice include being Program Manager for the Asian Institute of Management, Training Facilitator for the Center for Human Resources Strategies, Inc., Researcher for Orient Freight International and IAMCO Partners, Marketing Manager and Consultant for Riverbanks Development Corporation, Sales and Marketing Manager for Kenstar Travel Corporation and Sun Moon Star Philippines, Inc., and Market Analyst for Contel Communications, Inc. She is part of diverse organizations such as the Philippine Statistical Association, the International Association of Multidisciplinary Research, the Philippine Association of Institutions for Research, and the Academy for Studies in International Business.


 

Dr. Beatriz K. Tschoepke


tschopekeDr. Tschoepke is an Assistant Professorial Lecturer at the Management and Organization Department (MOD) of the Ramon V. del Rosario College of Business (RVR-COB) of De La Salle University (DLSU). She earned her doctorate in Business and Economic Sciences, with specialization at International and Intercultural Management, from the Technical University of Berlin.

An expert in international business, Dr. Tschoepke has professional experiences in both local and global organizations. She was Division Brand Manager for Rustan’s Marketing Corporation and Corporate Planning Manager for Andres Soriano Corporation, and rendered consultancy services to Grundstofftechnik GmbH, Germany, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Namibia; GTZ Gesellschaft fur Technische Zusammenarbeit; Grundstofftechnik GmbH, Germany, Kazakhstan; Center for Research & Communication; European Union MBA-TACIS Project, Almaty, Kazakhstan; EU HIBA-MEDA Project, Damascus, Syria; TVI Resources; Filminera Mining Resources; Lufthansa AG; Carl Duisberg Zentrum; Intercultures Berlin; ABZ TU-Berlin; Daimler Financial Services AG; and Farnell Group of Companies (UK), Germany, Singapore.

Her research interests include marketing, international business management, corporate social responsibility and social entrepreneurship. She contributed a chapter to AIM's book entitled "Social Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development". She has contributed articles to newspapers related to her interests, such as topics on corporate citizenship, diversity in global teams, and business volunteerism. She is active in community service, as evidenced by her spearheading of projects in the German-Philippine Entrepreneurs' Association and the Filipino Association in Berlin, Germany.

Dr. Arnel Onesimo O. Uy


uyDr. Uy is an Associate Professor under the Accountancy Department of the Ramon V. del Rosario College of Business (RVR-COB) of De La Salle University (DLSU). He earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Business from DLSU.

Uy’s research interests cover accounting, international business management, corporate social responsibility, and entrepreneurship. His articles were published by different journals such as the DLSU Business & Economics Review, International Journal of Entrepreneurship, Journal of International Business and Economics, and Journal of Economics and Economic Education Research. He is a two-time recipient of the Distinguished Paper Award as bestowed by the Allied Academies International Conference (USA). He was also the recipient of the Best Paper Award given by the Academy of Business Research (USA) and a Plaque of Recognition given by the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) and Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).

Aside from being a Certified Public Accountant, Uy is also a Certified Management Accountant (Institute of Certified Management Accountants) and a Financial Consultant under the Institute of Financial Consultants (USA and Canada). He previously served the University as Chief Compliance Officer and as Vice Dean for Research and Graduate Studies.

Uy is currently a consultant for the Center for Human Resource Strategies Asia, Inc., Institute of Certified Management Accountants (Australia), and Institute of Financial Consultants (USA and Canada). He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Meridiane International Learning Experience, Picksource, Inc., Obando Uy Development Corporate, and Execonsult Inc. He was also a Financial Analyst for Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation.


 

Dr. Aida L. Velasco


velascoDr. Velasco is an Associate Professor at the Decision Sciences and Innovation (DSI) Department of the Ramon V. del Rosario College of Business (RVR-COB) of De La Salle University (DLSU). She earned her Doctor of Business Administration from DLSU. Velasco’s research interests include innovation and technology management, entrepreneurship, operations and supply chain management. Her articles had been published in the DLSU Business and Economics Review, and the Journal of Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers. She also authored a book entitled “Finding the Missing Middle”, published last October 2011, and contributed chapters to books, namely Promoting Philippine Enterprise Development (“Social Entrepreneurship: Opportunities and Threats in Doing Business with the Poor”) and Visions for Education (“Quality Assurance Level and level 4 Accreditation: The De La Salle University Experience”).

Velasco had served as a consultant for different institutions, such as the Foundation for Enterprise Management and Innovation, NIKE Corporation, Johnson and Johnson, Inc. , Texas Instrument, Unilever Philippines, Intel Philippines, and Pilipinas Shell Corporation. She is also involved in different professional organizations, occupying leadership positions in the South East Asia Ergonomics Society (President) and the National Research Council of the Philippines (Division Committee Chair). She is a member of the Philippine Academy of Management of Management, the Asia Academy of Management, and the Research Council of the Philippines.
