Shift Labs: Learning Innovation Centerboard

SHIFT LABS puts the individual as the center and recognize that learning takes place in two dimensions: the lifelong dimension and the lifewide dimension. The lifelong dimension indicates that the individual learns throughout a life-span. While the lifewide dimension recognises that individuals learn in formal and informal learning contexts. Taking this as the starting point, SHIFT LABS is focused on expanding learning opportunities for both young and adult learners, inside and outside the classroom.

SHIFT LABS aims to explore and realize the potential of emerging information and communications technologies to transform learning and teaching through the design and development of interactive digital content, instructional games, learning and content management systems.

SHIFT LABS is empowered by these emerging instructional technologies and believes this to be the catalyst for modern educational models where learning is more personal, mobile, and accessible. Through research on learning innovation and development of instructional technologies, SHIFT LABS hopes to make learning outside school not just an option, but a more compelling choice for any learner.

Through its research, partnership, consulting and training services, SHIFT LABS is positioned to be a prime-mover for educational reforms and nation-building.
