The University endeavors to provide holistic formation to all the students by developing the full potential of the individual through various student development programs and services. These are handled and offered by the seven offices under the Student Affairs.
Lasallian Pastoral Office
The Lasallian Pastoral Office leads the members of the DLSU community towards faith-life integration and in becoming authentic disciples and prophetic citizens through worship and liturgical celebrations, spiritual formation, community building activities and research on spirituality and faith development.
Center for Social Concern and Action
The Center for Social Concern and Action (COSCA) is the social development arm of De La Salle University. It is the primary unit responsible for the leadership, advancement, and general oversight work on promoting the Lasallian Social Development (LSD) principles and values of the Lasallian Guiding Principles (LGP). It ensures that everyone in the University is aware of and animates these principles, and engages in endeavors that actualize faith in action through service to and in solidarity with the poor.
Gawad Kalinga – De La Salle University
DLSU alone cannot transform society. Hence, it works closely with Gawad Kalinga, a global movement that aims to end poverty for over 5 million families by 2024. It is currently present in over 2,000 communities in the Philippines and in Cambodia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and soon in India. Through this partnership, GK DLSU aims to serve as a bridge between academic efforts and their social relevance. Furthermore, GK DLSU hopes to promote a culture of faith and patriotism that leaves no one, especially the last, the lost and the least, behind.
