Office of the Executive Director for Development and Alumni Relations
The Office of the Executive Director for Development and Alumni Relations is responsible for the broad area of capital development: the raising of financial resources for grants and endowments covering scholarships, professorial chairs, physical facilities, and other needs of the University.
A University benefactor who desires to perpetuate the memory of a parent, family member, friend, or associate may make a specific donation that will be established as a trust or endowment fund. The principal is then invested and only the earnings are used to support the specific purpose for which the endowment is intended.
This unit, headed by the Director for Special Projects, is primarily responsible for managing the annual giving project, the Lasallian Legacy Fund Campaign.
This annual campaign aims to promote among alumni and friends, a genuine interest in supporting the University and the value of sharing through philanthropic giving.
To-date, the campaign has raised over Php60 million in donations primarily for scholarships from over 1,500 donors.
The Lasallian Legacy Fund Campaign is a component of the One La Salle Scholarship Fund.

The Lasallian Legacy Fund Campaign employs student/alumni telemarketers who assist in seeking financial support from alumni and friends.
The OED-DAAR is responsible for the We Salute Our Own series. We Salute Our Own is a biennial tribute to Lasallian alumni achievers in different fields. In 1991, recognition was given to alumni in government sector. In 2002, Lasallians in the banking and financial industry were commended. In 2004, alumni in the fields of media, arts and advertising were given recognition.
The OED-DAAR nurtures relationships with its donors. In 2006, the first gathering of donors was held to publicly acknowledge and thank them for the support to the University.
