Naval Reserve Center 247th Naval ROTC Unit

The DLSU 247th NROTCU Website aims to help and allow the people view the unit in a broader sense. Details are depicted in here regarding the training and other activities being promoted by the whole Unit. This is
also a means for the presently-enrolled cadets to view announcements as well as the latest developments regarding their training. A Downloads Section is also offered for them to get their reviewers and other pertinent files needed for their basic subjects. The graduates of ROTC are also encouraged to visit the website and see the progress that the unit had accomplished. In the same manner, it would be highly recommended that the ROTC graduates fill up the Graduates' Database in order for the Unit to have a more systematic organization of the graduates. The alumni officers are also very much welcomed to fill in the Officer Alumni Database so as to have a better organization of the alumni and be able to complete some pertinent information that would be very helpful in gaining contacts with one another. Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Mission

The Armed Forces of the Philippines is the protector of the people and the State. Its goal is to secure the sovereignty of the State and the integrity of National Territory.

Philippine Navy (PN) Mission

To conduct prompt and sustained naval and maritime operations to accomplish the AFP Mission.

NAVRESCOM Mission

To organize, equip and administer naval reservists in order to provide the Philippine Navy the base for expansion in the event of war, invasion, rebellion or disaster/calamities and to assist in the socio-economic development of the country.

247TH NROTCU Mission

To train and develop college students in the rudiments of military service and produce capable AFP reservists.
