LSPO Overview

LSPOThe Lasallian Pastoral Office may be described as:

  • A Campus Ministry Office
  • A Center for Lasallian Formation

As a Campus Ministry Office, it is tasked to take care of the Spiritual Development of the school community through:

  • The celebration of the sacraments (Eucharist, Reconciliation) and other para-liturgical services
  • Retreats and recollections for various sectors within the University

As a Center for Lasallian Formation:

  • It promotes the core values of Faith, Service and Community
  • Educates the community about the life and examples of St. John Baptist De La Salle

The Different Ministries

Worship Ministry: Takes charge of the liturgical and para-liturgical activities
of the community. This ministry provides the members of the University with opportunities for spiritual nourishment and growth.

Retreat & Recollection Ministry: Designs and develops retreats and recollections for students in the University. It also coordinates and organizes spiritual activities for the other sectors of the community.

Community Building & Christian Education Ministry (CBCE): Aims to build a faithful and zealous Christian Community as it organizes and executes activities and
programs that enable the members of the Lasallian community to be deeply rooted in their faith and empowered to serve the Filipino people reflecting the Lasallian values and spirituality.

Lasallian Formation Ministry: This ministry is the Lasallian formation arm of DLSU. The programs provided aim to help the members of the Lasallian Family to deepen their understanding of what it means to be a Lasallian and to better appreciate its rich heritage.
