Selection Criteria

Financial grants are awarded to deserving students by the SFA Committee, based on the following criteria:

  • Financial need
  • Academic competence based on high school grades and DLSU College Entrance Test results
  • Interview result

Automatic academic scholarships are awarded to high school valedictorians or salutatorians of La Salle schools.

Once awarded, the grants are renewable every trimester. The grantees are required to meet certain academic standards and to abide by the policies prescribed by the SFA. Grantees may be required to render service/assistantship beginning their sophomore year.

The financial aid program usually includes tuition and fees only, although a donor may provide other forms of assistance, such as book and living allowances.
