Student Assistantship and Resource Training Program (START)

Benefits and Privileges

STARTers shall enjoy the following benefits/privileges during their term of assistantship:

  1. Remuneration of minimum hourly rate prescribed by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE);
  2. Signing privileges in cafeterias/canteens, for settlement on pay dates;
  3. Employee discount at the bookstore;
  4. Priority slot in the Student Loan Program; and
  5. Advance enrollment privilege (for undergraduate STARTers who render the maximum 20 hours a week)
