He contributed for several publications like the Philippine Daily Inquirer, the Philippine Star, and several titles from Mega Magazines and Publications. He was also the head of the Student Media Office of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde where he pioneered the development of a comprehensive operations manual and training curriculum for campus journalists.

In the future, Randy plans to pursue more research on journalism and the new media. His vision is to transform the Student Media Office of the University to a media center where information is disseminated through television, radio, the Internet and print media.
