Council of Editors

The Council of Editors is a supervisory body envisioned to implement the provisions of the Campus Journalism Law among the major publications of De La Salle University-Manila.

Vision and Mission

The Council of Editors envisions itself as an empowered body composed of student leaders, visible through concrete action, duly recognized by the Lasallian community. It aims to be the benchmark of student publication management among universities and colleges in the Philippines.

Objectives

1. The Council of Editors shall address and act upon the concerns and issues raised by any of the member publications in a just and fair manner.
2. The Council of Editors shall promote unity and camaraderie among the member publications.
3. The Council of Editors shall enforce rules and regulations agreed upon by the member publications.
4. The Council of Editors shall promote freedom of speech and expression in all its undertakings in accordance with the Student Handbook.
5. The Council of Editors shall strive to increase awareness of issues affecting all spheres of student life through truthful writing, visual artistry, professionalism, and dedication to craft.
