Vacancy: Senior UNIX Engineers

Job Description:

    The Information Technology Group has an opportunity for Senior UNIX Engineers to join the team in Manila. In this role, you will work in the business aligned team, and coordinate with the Systems Integrator, Business Infrastructure Architect and Technical Specialist – DBA roles to advise, define, plan and deliver UNIX projects.

Qualifications:

  • Strong Linux and/or Solaris skills including;
  • Initial build using Kickstart and Jumpstart
  • Ongoing management such as patching and upgrades
  • Understanding of OS Storage Management (multi-pathing, volume management etc)
  • Understanding of directory services such as DNS, LDAP
  • Performance tuning
  • Scripting, in Perl and Shell, in order to automate manual processes
