Vacancy: HRIS Specialist

Job Description:

  • Responsible for the continued development, data integrity and on-going maintenance of the firms HRIS system and external applications (Employee Self Service, Time & Attendance, etc).
  • Sets-up, modifies and maintains all set-up tables (including but not limited to modifying job codes, dept's, passwords, permissions, etc.)
  • Provides scheduled and adhoc reports for all firm departments. 
  • Ensures accuracy and data integrity of HRIS systems through periodic review and audits.
  • Provides End User Support on data entry procedures, system navigation and report writing.
  • Assists in the development or modification of existing HRIS processes and programs to meet changing demands. 
  • Develops user documentation and training for HRIS applications
  • Audits and ensures data integrity of International payroll processes.
  • Assists in the completion of compensation surveys.
  • Supports the HRIS Assistant by inputting employee data into the HRIS System including payroll information, job changes, etc during high volume and/or absences.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field.
  • 3-5 years experience in an HR environment working with Peoplesoft or ADP Enterprise HRIS systems.
  • Proven experience in database query, reporting tools, database systems, and desktop operating systems/software.
  • Strong quantitative ability and advanced Excel skills (creation of complex formulas, vlookups, pivot tables, etc).
  • Strong functional knowledge of the various HR functions --- HR, Benefits, Payroll.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex data issues to determine cause
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
