COS, Osaka University hold joint research workshop

Faculty members of the College of Science (COS) and the Osaka University (OU) Graduate School of Engineering are set to present their respective research projects during the 5th OU-De La Salle University Science Research Workshop. The event will be held on campus from August 1 to 7.
A flagship project of the DLSU-OU academic linkage, the workshops serve as venue where research activities in both universities are discussed in significant detail by their proponents. COS and OU take turns in hosting the activity.

Arriving from Osaka University to deliver lectures during the workshop are Professors Hideaki Kasai, Koichi Kusakabe, and Hiroshi Iwasaki. Also among the workshop presenters from OU is Dr. Wilson Dino, adjunct faculty member of the DLSU Physics Department, and Eben Dy, former Chemistry Department faculty member.

COS faculty members who will also present during the workshop are Dr. Romeric Pobre, Gil Nonato Santos, Dr. Reuben Quiroga, Dr. Emmanuel Rodulfo, Dr. Ma.Cecilia Galvez, and Dr. Edgar Vallar (Physics); Dr. Wyona Patalinghug and Nikko Quevada (Chemistry); Dr. Yvette Lim, Dr. Severino Gervaci, Dr. Edmundo Perez Jr., Dr. Ederlina Nocon, and Dr. Arlene Pascasio (Math); and Anthony Lee, Apollo Cordon, Dr. Irene Samonte, Dr. Florenda Santiago, and Dr. Josefina de Jesus (Biology).
