La Salle exhibit to highlight DLSU journ cup

DLSU-Manila will feature select stories about youth and education in a public exhibition titled “In the Public Eye: An Exhibit on the Lasallian Scholarum Awards” to be held from April 8 to 10 at the Ayala Mall Lower Level, Glorietta in Makati City.

A project of the Marketing Communication Office in cooperation with Ayala Center, the exhibit seeks to promote the 2nd Lasallian Scholarum Awards and the cause it advances.

Established in 2003, the Lasallian Scholarum Awards is an annual competition that supports and recognizes outstanding coverage of youth and education issues. It aims to generate awareness on issues confronting the education sector and to increase involvement of institutions and individuals in youth development.

There are five contest categories: 1) published feature story on youth and education; 2) published photograph on youth and education; 3) televised feature story on youth and education; 4) published or televised feature story on DLSU-Manila; and 5) unpublished feature story on youth and education.

Each winner will receive a cash prize and a sculpture designed and crafted by noted glass artist Ramon Orlina.
Deadline for submission of entries is on May 30.
