Com Arts lecturer presents project on cable TV

Guest lecturer Collis Davis of the Communication Arts Department recently graced the KMTP TV 32’s Filipino American Report for a 5-part interview series about his work-in-progress video documentary on Native American anthropologist William Jones (1871-1909).

The interviews were aired during the week of March 25th. Excerpts from his demo tape and recent footage were intercut with the 60-minute interview footage videotaped in Metro Manila on February 28th and aired in San Francisco, California.

“Headhunting Willam Jones” tells the story of the extraordinary odyssey of an Oklahoman Fox native from Indian Territory to the Harvard Club to the wilds of headhunting country of Northern Luzon, Philippines.
