Six
countries join DLSU-M’s Education Expo 2002
Partner
universities from the United States, France, Australia, Canada,
Singapore, and Japan visited the De La Salle University-Manila
campus last week for the launching of Education Expo 2002.
Organized by the Office of External Linkages together with
the Student Council-Office of the Vice President for Academics
and Business and Economics 2001 Batch Assembly (B&E 2001),
the event was held from February 11 to 13.
The participants set up their exhibits at the M. Gaerlan Conservatory
during the three-day fair. At the same time, representatives
of each school gave talks for those who are interested to
study abroad, encouraging not only students and faculty members,
but also administrators and staff members. They also distributed
informational brochures of schools abroad.
The activity sought to strengthen the University’s thrust
of producing competent professionals by familiarizing Lasallians
with conditions and requirements of studying abroad.
Willette Limqueco of the Student Council was overall coordinator
of the activity. Reodel Masilungan coordinated for the External
Linkages, which is headed by Benison Cu.
