DLSU-M looks
forward to a brighter, greener Christmas
The
Lasallian community will hold its institutional Christmas
celebration on December 20 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Amphitheater.
With the theme, “For A Brighter, Greener Christmas,” the event
will commemorate the community’s wish for a more meaningful
Lasallian experience that answers God’s call for peace and
unity especially in these trying times.
To start the day’s festivities, a thanksgiving mass will be
held at the Amphitheater at 10 a.m. A program will follow
after the mass. It will feature song and dance numbers from
various members of the Lasallian community.
The Lasallian family will then be treated to a salo-salo at
the Marian Quadrangle.
Everyone is invited to participate in the pre-Christmas preparations
that include the “Brighten A Tree for Christmas” where different
sectors of the Lasallian community will be designated with
their own tree around campus. Brothers, administrators, faculty,
staff, alumni, students and parents will design their respective
Christmas trees, hoping to reflect Christmas joy and foster
oneness with the Lasallian family.
The University will also hold the Pagdalaw ni Niño
Jesus, where the baby Jesus will visit the colleges. A liturgical
service will be held for each visit that invites the Lasallian
family to prepare for the coming of their savior.
There will be no course card distribution from 10 to 1 p.m.
so that everyone could join the festivities.
