is over-all champion in National Marketing Week
The
De La Salle University-Manila was declared over-all champion
for this year’s National Marketing Week Competitions hosted
by the Philippine Marketing Association (PMA). The event,
dubbed “Marketing Shift II: Beyond Breakthroughs,” was held
on August 20-23 at the Glorietta Activity Center.
The
students who represented the University were chosen and handled
by the Junior Entrepreneurs’ Marketing Association (JEMA)
in cooperation with the Marketing Management Department as
a follow-up project to the DLSU-M Marketing Week held on July
9-13.
Giselle Frances Sia, Jill Christine Santiago, and Kathrine
Cu won first place in the Marketing Quiz Bee. Jan Krisha Dy,
Sara Denise Mendoza, and Leynard Quizon won 2nd place for
the Jingle Writing Competition. Clarissa Geron, Martin Cervantes,
and Joan Cantemprate won first place in the Marketing Packaging
Contest, while Paula Berroya and Markson Tan won 1st and 3rd
place respectively for the Poster Ad Making Contest.
Haraya Ocampo and Charles Realuyo won 2nd place in the marketing
debate on the proposition Should advertising be limited during
economic recession? While Dy, Mark Chester Ocampo, Ian Velasco,
Martin Chung, Trixie Gancayco, Gyneth Garcia, Jojo Dabu Go,
Minette Gamboa, John Rae Cortez, Sara Denise Mendoza, Elline
Natasha Villanueva, and Earl Vincent Camua bagged the first
place for the Marketing Promotions Contest for their tri-media
campaign for Motolite Oriental battery.
