COSCA
offers alternative Lasallian Christmas
Even in the midst of political
and economic turbulence, the Center
for Social Concern and Action (COSCA) enjoins the
Lasallian family to observe the Yuletide season with unwavering
hope and abounding compassion. In the true spirit of Christmas,
may we not forget to share the blessings we receive from God
to our less fortunate kababayans.
Toys, children’s clothes, toiletries,
or whatever amount or goods you can generously give are welcomed
by COSCA. These will then be distributed to charity houses
such as Redeemer’s Home, House of Sarang, Concordia Children’s
Services, Bethlehem House of Bread, Muntinlupa Bilibid Prison,
and Damascus Foundation.
In addition, COSCA is also
sponsoring a lantern-making contest open to all offices in
the University. Through this activity, COSCA hopes to prepare
the DLSU-Manila community for the genuine celebration and
remembrance of Christ’s birth. The contest offers token prizes
for the winners and lots of fun and surprises for all the
participants.
Visit COSCA at SPS 401, or
contact them at locals 147/417, or by sending an email to
cljhbt@mail.dlsu.edu.ph.
