The 9th Chinese Art and Culture Exhibit

A collection of artifacts from the Chinese Embassy is on display at the Art Gallery of the University Library. Featured items are Buddha images, miniatures of the famous terra-cotta warriors, and some wares that they used for their daily life. Sponsored together with the International Studies Department, the exhibit runs until October 31.

Erratum

In the article “13 faculty earn graduate degrees” which came out in our October 2 issue, we inadvertently named a faculty of the Departamento ng Literatura at Wikang Filipino as Pia Agatha Verdadero. It should have read Pieta Agatha Verdadero. Our apologies.
