GSB offers second managers’ training
Following the success of its initial run, DLSU Graduate School of Business now presents its second Managing Filipinos program on September 28 at the Dusit Hotel.
Managing Filipinos is both a challenge, as well as an opportunity, for the manager willing to see cultural constraints as cultural strengths. This exciting short program tackles people management from just such a perspective. It encourages managers to think out of the box through insights by business leaders as well as experts from other fields.
Four eminent and engaging speakers share their views on the subject: Sociologist Randy David of the University of the Philippines; Cora de la Paz, chair and senior partner of Joaquin Cunanan and Company; John Cole, senior external relations officer of the Asian Development Bank; and Emily Abrera, chair and CEO of McCann-Erickson Philippines.
Attendees get to join the speakers in a lively debate on a topical issue to be moderated by writer, critic, and publisher Dr. Isagani Cruz. They also get to talk more intimately with the panelists over lunch. Senior managers who deal with Filipinos as a major part of their job will benefit the most from this program. Both Filipino and expatriate managers will find this program stimulating and valuable.
