Systems Development and Standards

Overview

The Systems Development and Standards (SDS) Section of ITS designs, develops, implements and evaluates new computer-based information systems, and/or enhances manual-based systems as requested by the academic/administrative units to facilitate their operations. SDS also maintains the master reference files related to the implementation of new systems, to ensure file/data integrity of the office’s computerized systems.

Mission

  • Design, implement, and deploy quality automated information systems, and evaluate these systems annually
  • Proactively respond to the information needs and database support requirements of the university

Vision

  • Fully automate University processes and integrate all University information systems
  • Provide a self-service information hub using one data source
