Web Development and Documentation (WDD)

Service Requests Policies and Guidelines

To avail of ITC-WDD's services, a Service Request Form (SRF) (pdf/36kb) must be duly filled-up. In sending your requests, please be reminded of the following:

For Web Page Design Requests
  1. Request must be sent through the ITC-TOS-Help Desk at Room 305 Gokongwei Hall.
  2. The SRF must be noted by a faculty member.
  3. Logos must be in high resolution format at least 100 dpi.
  4. Content must be in standard word format with the following: mission-vision, about the office/conference, history, programs and services and contact information.
  5. Design format will be coordinated with a contact person from the Web Development and Documentation Unit.
For Web Page Update Requests
  1. Request must be sent through the ITC-TOS-Help Desk at Room 305 Gokongwei Hall at least three (3) working days before the day the update needs to be posted.
  2. The SRF must be noted by a faculty member.
  3. A soft copy of the updates in must be sent together with the SRF.

  3. For ready-made banner ads, a Photoshop (.psd) file (unflattened layers) copy of the ad must be sent together with the SRF. The file must be 738 x 174 pixels (100 dpi resolution) in size. ITC-WDD will not process your request if the file is in .jpg format.
  4. If the design and layout has not been made, a copy of the content must be sent in .doc format (for the text) together with the image files (e. g. logos).
  5. Series-type flash banners are only allowed for special cases such as announcements coming from the administration (e.g. relief operations, UAAP events, institutional events such as University-week and institutional Christmas Party) and major launching of academic-related projects (e.g. TELE, LORA, welcoming freshmen) given a special request has been made and approved. The standard limit of number of slides is three (3). The maximum of five (5) slides is due for evaluation and approval by the ITC-WDD.
  6. We do not display logos of sponsors that are not affiliated with the De La Salle University, as well as email addresses, URL (web site address), and contact numbers.
  7. Titles should only contain up to 20 characters, spaces included.
  8. Themes should only contain up to 25 characters, spaces included.
  9. We can only keep a flash banner posted for a maximum of 30 calendar days.

Your request's DTS number will be sent to you via email. To know the status of your request, go to your My.LaSalle account and key in the DTS number. For inquiries, call the ITC-TOS-Help Desk at local 316 or 466.
