Institutional Accreditation and Assessment (IAA) Office

Vision

The Institutional Accreditation and Assessment Office plays a key role in establishing and nurturing a culture of assessment and continuous improvement and in providing data-driven evidences integral to the University’s decision–making  processes to support its commitment to excellence and scholarship.

Mission

Guided by its Vision, the Institutional Accreditation and Assessment Office will promote and provide support for accreditation, program review and assessment by applying practices, strategies, and quality standards that are nationally and regionally recognized. It will impart accurate, timely, and easily accessible information to designated stakeholders in support of institutional strategic planning, policy-making, and performance evaluations.

Objectives

  1. To promote quality initiatives and best practices in the University.
  2. To develop and maintain an infrastructure for facilitating accreditation and assessment and for demonstrating adherence to the criteria and standards set by the University and other external agencies.
  3. To communicate to the academic community and stakeholders the activities, criteria and standards, best practices, and opportunities provided by assessment.
  4. To serve as a central repository and clearinghouse for institutional data and assessment findings for University stakeholders.
  5. To harness data and information to further knowledge productivity particularly in institutional planning and policy making.
