Overview
The Human Resources Development and Management Office (HRDMO) handles the recruitment, hiring, placement, salary and benefits administration, training and development of co-academic personnel of De La Salle University. It is also tasked to carry out labor relations activities.
Functions
Among the specific functions of the Human Resources Development and Management Office (HRDMO) are:
- Plan, organize, direct and control activities and programs related to management and services affecting members of the staff.
- Plan, direct and control activities related to training and staff development, specifically in the areas of values development and attitude enhancement, skills improvement and development, and career and personality development.
- Formulate and revise for approval policies, rules and regulations affecting the members of the staff.
- Disseminate and implement the approved policies, rules and regulations, and discipline those who are found to be violating the rules.
- Evaluate and develop salary and benefit schemes for members of the staff.
- Implement and approve benefits under the law and the collective bargaining agreement.
- Conduct job evaluation, wage review and reclassification.
- Handle labor relations activities.
- Formulate, revise, and implement policies on recruitment, hiring, placement, transfer and promotion of staff; approve hiring of new staff.
- Act as liaison between the University and external lawyers.
