DLSU Ondoy Relief Drive (Sagip Metro)

5,065 packs of relief goods were distributed today to communities in San Francisco del Monte and Bagong Silangan in Quezon City, Caloocan, and Rizal. Of the 5,065 bags, 500 were distributed with the assistance of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, and 150 were picked up for deployment by De La Salle University-Dasmarinas volunteers. Another 150 bags were given to Kuya Center areas in Quezon City and Marikina.

Non-clothes donations received from 800 individuals and organizations as of Sep 30 — inclusive of food items, rice, medicine, toiletries, plastic bags, and school supplies—are estimated to be worth Php869,955. A total of 15,851 clothing items have been accounted for.

For October 1, the target is to deploy 3,852 relief good packs to Tatalon, Pandacan, Lian and Bagac, Batangas, and via partner organizations Proworker, Manresa, and ICC.
