Office of the Associate Vice Chancellor for Campus Development

The Office of the Associate Vice Chancellor for Campus Development (OAVCCD) plans and directs the operations and functions of the units responsible for creating spaces that enhance the University’s research, teaching, administrative, and student activities in line with its vision-mission. The office performs the following general functions:

  1. Administers the short, medium and long-term campus development plans in all University campuses and auxiliary facilities.
  2. Directs space planning and standards-setting in line with the campus development plan.
  3. Guides the consultation process relevant to campus development.
  4. Manages major infrastructure projects.
  5. Represents the University on matters pertaining to campus development.

Campus Planning Office

The Campus Planning Office (CPO) collates and generates all the information relevant to crafting a short, medium and long-term campus development plan. The office tracks all campus plan development targets until these are inputted into the University’s capital construction program.

Project Management Office

The Project Management Office (PMO) develops and manages the University’s capital construction program and implementation plan. The office monitors and evaluates all major construction projects until these are completed and turned over to the University.
