Pathfinder : Computer Programming
Scope Note:
Designing and writing computer programs, or sequences of instructions to be
executed by a computer. A computer is able to perform useful tacks only by executing
computer programs.(Source: McGraw-Hill
concise encyclopedia of science & technology, Q121 .M32 2005)
A programming language is a language that is in intended to be used by a person to
express a process by which a computer can solve a problem.(Source: Programming languages structures and
models, QA76.7 D47 1995)
