Qualifications:

  1. Must be a graduate of Bachelor's degree in Accountancy;
  2. Must be a Certified Public Accountant;
  3. Must have at least three (3) years work experience in related fields;
  4. Must be able to communicate effectively, in both oral and written form;
  5. Must be proficient in MS Office applications (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, etc);
  6. Must be highly dependable, trustworthy, service-oriented and with a high level of integrity; and willing to work beyond the ordinary requirements of the job;
  7. Must possess strong skills in organizing, coordinating, problem-solving, developing and implementing new strategies and processes, and leadership.

Job Description/Summary

  1. Develops, initiates, maintains and revises policies and procedures of Externally Funded Projects/ Grants;
  2. Reviews MOA guidelines of each Externally Funded Projects/ Grants, and coordinates all significant requirements necessary for compliance with law, regulation or agreements;
  3. Identifies potential violations to MOAs; develops/implements corrective action plans for resolution and provides general guidance;
  4. Assists project coordinators in the preparation of budget proposal whenever necessary;
  5. Represents the Controller during meetings regarding Externally Funded Projects/ Grants;
  6. Attends to all the requirements of external auditors of the funding agency;
  7. Performs other duties and responsibilities analogous, germane or related to and/or implied from the enumerated responsibilites.
