The recognition bestowed upon us by the Asiaweek magazine as one of Asia's best universities at the onset of the new millennium, reinforces that we are setting the standards in the teaching and research fields. The Philippine Commission on Higher Education has awarded Centers of Excellence and Development as marks for signifying quality programs and departments, respectively.

Recently, the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) awarded De La Salle University-Manila Level IV status , the highest accreditation. DLSU-Manila is the first university to be given such accreditation
