With chapters around the world, the International Academy of Chief
Information Officers seeks to introduce an international standard for
the CIO position by establishing academic networks, facilitating
exchange of information and ideas, and fostering the development of
best practices in CIO operations, CIO councils, and e-Government.
IAC is undertaking a project supported by the Asia-Pacific Economic
Cooperation (APEC) to deploy the Government Chief Information
Officer (GCIO) Training Model in participating APEC economies.
The project also aims to establish a network of CIO training institutes
and e-Government research centers. |
