The capital of the Philippines - its heart and soul - is Manila. Metropolitan Manila is where the country's most prestigious business addresses and the trendiest leisure establishments are found. By day, it hums with the bustle of commerce and, by night, throbs with the excitement of varied, world class entertainment. The Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) is the country's premier gateway and services more than 30 foreign airlines. Philippine Airlines, the country's flag carrier, links Manila to 14 cities in eight countries.
