Mission The Center will engage in research collaboration with government agencies, educational institutions and industry in the area of human factors and ergonomics.
It will also conduct training and consultancy in selected areas in human factors and ergonomics.
Its modern facilities and excellent academic resources will be used by the government, industry, and scholars in the pursuit of a better working condition for the Filipinos.
The Center envisions becoming a leading human factors research facility in the Philippines and in Southeast Asia.
The Industrial Engineering Department of DLSU incorporates human factors and ergonomics in its curriculum. Physical ergonomics and cognitive ergonomics lecture and laboratory classes are offered during the student's junior year. The knowledge gained from these two subjects is used as inputs in the product design and occupational health and safety courses.
