Sports Club

Arnis Team

As an organization, it aims to provide individuals in the DLSU community the chance to better themselves through the martial arts of Arnis. Uses rattan batons as a force multiplier to one's opponent and generally emphasizes fluidity, precision, coordination, perception, endurance and power.

Dragon Boat Team

This team is committed to the promotion of the sport of dragon boat rowing in and out of the university, and to the physical and mental development of its members.

Hockey Club

The Hockey Club was established to promote the different forms of hockey namely ice, roller and street, through training and tournaments, in order to inculcate sportsmanship and camaraderie and to develop a well-rounded personality among its members.

Iron Works Club

The organization envisions a community of physically fit and healthy Lasallian achievers through a fitness program that inculcates bodybuilding, endurance training and proper diet.

Karatedo Society

De La Salle Karatedo Society is open to the whole Lasallian community (students, faculty, alumni and employees) who are interested in learning the martial arts and values of karatedo through practices and competitions.

DLSU Rowing Team

To promote the sport of rowing within the university and provide an environment where DLSU students could engage in activities that would develop them not only physically but socially, mentally and spiritually, as well as promote the Lasallian image of being Christian achievers in the rowing community.

DLSU Running Club

The DLSU Running Club set sights on providing fitness and health through the sport of running. With this aim we establish trainings and other related activities such as holding an annual fun run, the ANIMO! Run, not only for the students but also for the staff, faculty and alumni.

Sarian

Founded in the 1970s, it is more popularly known as the art of street fighting. Sari-an is the acronym for Sariling Pamamaraan, which caters to the needs of each and every individual. Its goal was to cover all facet of fighting, ranging from striking, grappling and incorporating the different systems of arnis, kali, eskrima and knife fighting.

Yoshinkan Aikido Club

A self defense martial art that follows a certain pattern that utilize one's inner strength and the absorption of the opponent's energy. It aims to integrate the discipline of Aikido and the traditional values of Religio, Mores and Cultura through words and action.
