Lasallian Action Week: Pananampalatayang Lasalyano:

NAGMAMALASAKIT
NAKIKIALAM
NAKIKIISA

The De La Salle University celebrates Lasallian Action Week on November 16 - 20, 2009.  This weeklong activity is a joint undertaking of the Lasallian Pastoral Office (LSPO) and the Center for Social Concern and Action (COSCA). The celebrations of Christ Week and COSCA Week were merged into one to challenge our Lasallian community to look at our current social realities with the eyes of faith and with the hope that it will move us to act zealously with compassion and love towards our neighbors, particularly the lost, the least and the last.

The chosen theme for this year's celebration is "Pananampalatayang Lasalyano; Nagmamalasakit, Nakikialam, Nakikiisa." to remind us that faith, in the Lasallian tradition, leads us to a deeper love, concern and commitment and living these out by actively working with others in the service of the least, the lost and the last of the greater Philippine society. This year's Lasallian Action Week will focus on good governance, youth-at-risk, education, the upcoming National Elections and the environment.
