Sinag 2 Shell Design Contest

Do you want to design the country's next solar-powered car?

The Sinag 2 Project Team is inviting all Lasallian students to join the Sinag 2 Shell Design Contest. Winning designer will receive P2,000 in cash.

Submitted Design Concepts should show the following criteria:

  • General shape of car (front, side, top, isometric view if possible)
  • Car fits in a box 5 meters long, 1.8 meters wide, 1.6 meters tall
  • Driver eye level must be at least 0.7 meter from ground
  • Total area of solar panels and location
  • Driver sitting position (26 deg from vertical)
  • Location of wheels

Note:

  • All sketches should be drawn to scale.
  • Sketches may be done by hand
  • If CAD software is used, print a hard copy of the design

Deadline of submission of entries is on October 10, Friday. Forward your entries to Engr. Rene Fernandez, Sinag 2 project leader, at the ME Department, M105.
