Message from the President

We are being called to launch a new educational revolution to respond to the challenges of these changing times. And this is going to be the thrust of my administration. It is my dream as we move further into the 21st century, that we nurture more Filipino Christian leaders of exemplary character, vision, morals, attitudes and values. I firmly believe that the formation of true Filipino Christian leaders is only possible through a quality Christian education aimed at forming professionals who are also prophets, citizens who are also disciples. As a Christian Brother, I would like to impart Christian education not only for the privileged few but to those for whom a quality education is often an impossible dream. As an educator, I would like students to develop a zest for learning and zeal for right living. The improvement therefore of the lives of our fellow Filipinos through the formation of leaders who possess practical oriented skills, who are creative, intuitive, competent and compassionate, shall form part of the advocacy during my tenure. And as a Filipino, I dream of developing Filipino Christian leaders with a passion for justice, a commitment to the common good, and a zeal for the welfare of the poor and underprivileged.

I am thankful to our students and scholars for prioritizing excellence in their choice. As future leaders of our dear land, you are expected to use the skills and expertise gained here for the common good of our fellowmen and women and more so, to bring along the gospel values of true La Sallians in all your tasks, work, and daily lives. We have been blessed to be part of the De La Salle Professional Schools. We have the intellect, the resources and the capacity to do more good things for the service of God and country. Just as we progress, let us always remember our social responsibility, to humanity and make a difference for our beloved nation.
