CPDBE Short Course Offerings

Certificate Course in Business Process Outsourcing Management

Established in cooperation with the Business Processing Association of the Philippines (BPA/P) to cater to the needs of current and potential managers in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry, this course encompasses the fundamentals of finance, operations, and human resources, in addition to modules on strategic decision-making and business planning.

A separate supervisory skills program for supervisors and team leads in BPO companies is also offered by CPDBE.

Certificate Course in Direct Selling and Network Marketing

Organized with the Direct Selling Association of the Philippines (DSAP), this direct selling and network marketing course is recommended for sales associates, independent distributors of marketing companies, management associates involved in direct sales, and college instructors interested in teaching direct selling and network marketing. The Philippine economy, personal finance, environmental scanning, selling skills, and leadership are themes that form part of this DLSU-DSAP initiative.

Certificate Course in Marketing Communication Management

Jointly created by DLSU and the Philippine Association of National Advertisers (PANA) Foundation, the objective of the Marketing Communication course is to develop planning and creative skills for harnessing integrated marketing communications tools and carrying out marketing strategies. Specific sections of the program are devoted to marketing research methods, brand management, public relations, and customer relations.

Certificate Course in Property Management

Developed with the Philippine Association of Building Administrators, this program is geared toward educating property managers, design engineers, architects, contractors, and property developers on the effective management of commercial, residential, industrial, and recreational property. Topical modules for this course include management principles, marketing and leasing of properties, and human resource management and organizational development.

Certificate Course in Supply Chain Management

The Certificate Course in Supply Chain Management is a comprehensive course on supply chain management, covering topics in transportation and distribution, inventory planning, warehousing, and procurement. The program is a collaboration of DLSU and the Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines (SCMAP).

Certificate Course in Strategic Compliance in the Banking Industry

Offered in partnership with the Association of Bank Compliance Officers (ABCOMP), this certificate course provides a general overview of the compliance function in banks, introduces key compliance principles and frameworks, and dwells on the specific laws, rules, and standards that affect the banking industry in the Philippines. Participants are also introduced to specific issues faced by bank compliance officers and compliance teams, and required to develop a compliance program for their respective institutions or provide a critique of their existing compliance programs.
