We produce computer professionals, academics, and entrepreneurs who embody the ideals of competence, quality consciousness and Christian values. We develop experts in computer science, computer engineering, and information technology, equipping our students to become tomorrow's leaders in industry, academe, and government. Objectives

In response to the growing need for computer professionals in industry, government, and academic institutions, and in keeping with the mission of developing professional competence to service the needs of Philippine development, De La Salle University offers BS Computer Science major in Computer Systems Engineering, and BS Computer Science with specializations in Information Technology, Software Technology, Instructional Systems Technology, and Network Engineering.

Specifically, the objectives of the program are:

• to produce qualified and well-rounded computer professionals who can develop systems supportive of the information needs of industry and government using computer-based data processing system
• to explore the use of computers for real-time processing and to adapt hardware technologies to Third-World realities by looking at microprocessors and digital signal processors and microprocessor interfacing
• to develop individuals who will undertake the search for new knowledge and its application to Philippine realities
