IT Essentials: PC Hardware and Software

IT Essentials: PC Hardware and Software v4.1 covers the fundamentals of computer hardware and software as well as advanced concepts.  Upon completion of the course, one should be able to describe the internal components of a computer, assemble a computer system, install an operating system, and troubleshoot using system tools and diagnostic software.  The trainee is also expected to know how to connect the PC to the Internet and share resources in a networked environment.  Other topics include laptops and portable devices, wireless connectivity, security, safety and environmental issues, and communication skills.

Requirements

• Complete and pass all chapter examinations
• Pass the online final examination (1st attempt: 80% passing, 2nd attempt: 85% passing)
• Pass the skills-based assessment
• Complete the online course feedback form
• Complete attendance (max. of 1 absence only)

Note

• Training fee is Php 15,000.00 per participant, to be paid on or before the start of classes.
• No refund for missed training.
• Registration is transferable provided that the participating academy inform us in advance, i.e., at
• Lab manual and DLSU ID will be provided.
• Certificates will also be provided.
