Cisco Academy Training Center for Expanded Courses (Sponsored Curriculum) (CATC-SC)

DLSU is the CATC-SC of the Philippines. As a CATC-SC, DLSU is responsible for conducting trainings on sponsored curriculum courses such as Fundamentals of Unix, Fundamentals of Java, IT Essentials, and Voice and Data Cabling. Under DLSU, trainings for sponsored curriculum courses are categorized into two: instructor and professional trainings.

Instructor trainings are designed for instructors of Regional Academies (RAs) (as well as Local Academies) who plan to offer sponsored curriculum courses.

Professional trainings are designed for professionals and individuals who are still studying who want to enhance their skills in a specific area such as network operating systems, programming, and cabling.

Aside from being a CATC-SC, DLSU is also a Regional Academy of the Sponsored Curriculum (RA-SC) program. Institutions who plan to become Local Academies (LAs) of the Sponsored Curriculum may undergo instructor training from DLSU. DLSU has already sent three instructors to Hong Kong for the Fundamentals of Unix training, two instructors (also in Hong Kong) for the Fundamentals of Java training, two instructors to New Zealand for the Network Operating Systems (IT Essentials 2) training, and an instructor to Australia for the Fundamentals of Voice and Data Cabling training. These instructors are authorized to teach their respective sponsored curriculum courses to instructors of Regional and Local Academies as well as to students and professionals.

Regional Academy for Cisco Certified Network Associate (RA-CCNA)

DLSU is one of the RA-CCNA of the Philippines. As an RA-CCNA, DLSU is responsible for conducting trainings on CCNA courses, which are composed of four modules (semester 1, semester 2, semester 3, and semester 4). Under DLSU, trainings for CCNA courses are categorized into two: instructor and professional trainings.

Instructor trainings are designed for instructors of Local Academies (LAs) who plan to offer CCNA courses.

Professional trainings are designed for professionals and individuals who are still studying who want to enhance their skills in networking.

Cisco Academy Training Center for Fundamentals of Network Security (FNS) and Fundamentals of Wireless LAN (FWL)

DLSU is the CATC for FNS and FWL of the Philippines. As a CATC, DLSU is responsible for conducting trainings on courses such as Fundamentals of Network Security and Fundamentals of Wireless LAN. Under DLSU, trainings for these courses are categorized into two: instructor and professional trainings.

Instructor trainings are designed for instructors of Regional Academies (RAs) (as well as Local Academies) who plan to offer FNS and FWL courses.

Professional trainings are designed for professionals and individuals who are still studying who want to enhance their skills in a specific area such as network security and wireless LAN.

Aside from being a CATC for FNS and FWL, DLSU is also a Regional Academy of the FNS and FWL program. Institutions who plan to become Local Academies (LAs) of the these courses may undergo instructor training from DLSU. DLSU has already sent two instructors to to Australia for the Fundamentals of Network Security and Fundamentals of Wireless LAN training. These instructors are authorized to teach their respective courses to instructors of Regional and Local Academies as well as to students and professionals.
