Committees

  • Academics Committee
People say that when you conduct tutorials, hold symposia, organize quiz contests and review classes, invite guest speakers to indulge in topic of national concern, you have to be a nerd.
At the Academics Committee, we beg to disagree. Because we not only make school a little easy, we also make it a little more fun. It's not that all academic.
  • Human Resource Development (HRD) Committee
HRD Committee formerly known as Membership Committee aims to promote camaraderie and active participation among members of the organization. It is very visible in all of the organization's activities and is in-charge of monitoring the involvement of its members and its training and development programs.
  • Special Projects Committee
Fund-raising projects would fall under this committee. All projects lined up all year round gear towards finances to fund other undertakings of the organization. This would also mean doing exciting projects, meeting a lot of people and having a lot of fun. This is a committee where "action" never ceases. Get into action, be part of SPC.
  • External Committee
ECONORG, being an active member of the JPES (Junior Philippine Economics Society) an association of economics organizations from different colleges and universities is currently the Vice-president for Academics this school year.
Aside from being a committee for dedicated, responsible yet fun-loving people, the External Committee is the committee tasked to participate in various activities of JPES. At the same time, this committee also serves as a ling with the business sector since JPES is the junior arm of the Philippine Economics Society which is comprised mostly of professionals.
  • Publications Committee
The Publications committee shall be in charge of press release and awareness on economic issue through ECHOES (Official newsletter of ECONORG) to be published at least once every term.
  • Community Development-Projects Committee
"Ask not what your country can do for you but ask what you can do for your country." John F. Kennedy
CDC-Projects is considered as the most noble of them all. This committee is tasked with all of ECONORG's socio-civic activities. The committee is in need of dedicated people willing to selflessly serve the Lasallian community, the nation, and God.
  • Community Development-Pagkamulat Committee
Community Development Pagkamulat reaches out to the less fortunate of today's society by actively participating in the CLA and CBE Pagkamulat Programs wherein students and teachers alike volunteer their time and effort to organize projects aiming at answering the needs of the poor by not just giving them material or financial aids but also inculcating in them the right values. "When much is given a man, much is required of him." Be part of this committee and make a significant change in our society.
  • Special Activities Committee
Activities such as acquaintance parties, treasure hunts and the annual shirtfest are among the numerous projects this committee will handle. This will mean a year filled with activities-full of fun and a lot of social gatherings. This committee will not only live up to its name but also make the whole organization a big, united and happy family.
  • Publicity Committee
Posters, teasers, banners, door hangers, pens creativity and public relations. These are what the publicity committee is all about. If you know all about ECONORG, its because of us.
